When it comes to flying privately there are many choices of aircraft to choose.  There are several categories of aircraft.  There are Light Jets, Mid Size Jets and Heavy Jets.   Distance and numbers of passengers generally determine the type of aircraft one chooses.   Personal preference and budget usually play another significant role.  In some instances passengers develop a comfort level with a certain aircraft as they have flown on it several times.  Usually if the customer requests a certain type of aircraft arrangements usually can be made before the charter.   The more notice a client gives the better the chance of that aircraft being available.  The major private airport in the New York City area is Teterboro, NJ which offers a large selection of aircraft. Teterboro is a short drive from New York City.  

So as one can see choosing the aircraft is not always simple.   Before the flight I recommend requesting pictures of the aircraft.  This is always a good idea so you won’t be in for any surprises!  Until next time all the best in your travels!
