There are many private airports in New York.  Most travelers which charter out of the New York city area use Teteboro.   This is exclusively a private airport.   Most travelers prefer to charter from Teterboro as it is in close proximity to NYC.     For a map of Teterboro please visit maps.google.com.  It also suited well for private jet travelers as the airport runways are used only by private jets.  Unlike other airports which have both commercial and private aviation.  An example of this would be New York-JFK. .  Many clients prefer to charter out of  private airports as they are less congested and more suited for private jets.The advantage of flying into a private airport exclusively is that generally speaking there are less delays and traffic for take offs and landings.
