The advantages of Jet Chartering in a Bad Economy by Mark Fleischmann
Author: admin | Filed under: private jet charterThere are many advantages to jet chartering vs. jet ownership. I will outline them in detail for my readers. The monthly maintenance expenses of owning a jet are a thing of the past. These include hangaring fees which the owner will pay regardless of whether or not the jet is flown. Another hefty expense is the maintenance of the aircraft which is determined by the manufacturer of the aircraft.
Jet Chartering is a more flexible alternative to ownership as it gives the clients several options of aircraft. Also if the client doesn’t always fly out of the same private airport there is a cost associated with repositioning the aircraft. As a charter broker I will always try to find the closest jet to the private airport so I can save the client time and money. Also when a client charters it is on a per trip basis. The client can fly based on their needs.
As one can see flexibility and cost savings are important issues. However, owning a jet is usually a personal issue and needs usually determine the route the client will take. I hope this will help my readers make an informed decision!
