This seems to be an easy question.  Right?  It really depends on your jet charter.   This depends on the distance of your charter, availability of aircraft, budget  and the amount of people going on your charter.  Usually a light jet is great for shorter distances.  The typical light jet will seat 6-7 passengers and will be able to go non stop for times under 3 hours.  Therefore, a private jet charter from NY to Miami would be great for this jet!

On a longer charter say 1800 nautical miles an aircraft like a Hawker 800 would be perfect.   It is capable of holding 3-5 golf bags, 6-8 suitcases and a set of skis.  If you plan on going cross country  non stop like Teterboro to Los Angeles by private jet a Gulfstream 3 is perfect for the charter.  A G3 can go approximately 528 MPH and has a ceiling of 45,000 feet.  It has 157 cubic feet for storage and can comfortably seat 12-15 passengers.

What is Jet Chartering?

What is Jet Chartering?

Jet Chartering is securing a private jet for a charter.  One can simply fly usually with only a few hours notice on a private jet.  It is very convenient as you  fly on your own schedule.  Customers can fly to airports that aren’t serviced by commercial aviation.  This is an advantage as it will give the customer greater access to the private airport of their choice.  This will save time.  Also, generally speaking you can change the itinerary.   For example if you want to fly to another airport after your meeting for another meeting this can be accomplished by  informing the operator.  The only issues will be the length of the duty day.  This depends on the travel time and amount of time the pilots will rest between and during flights.  This is important as safety is always an issue.   Jet chartering is a convenient way to travel for not only business people but the average person as well.
