There is much that goes into planning a jet charter.   Much last minute planning is done the day before or the day of the charter.   Sometimes the client has several meetings in different cities and times are not flexible. The beauty of a private jet is that you can change plans as circumstances change.  For instance I once had a client who was flying to a meeting and the weather at the airport was very overcast and foggy so the pilot flew to another private airport close by.   This gives the client flexibility and convenience.   

Forget about the fact that there are several thousand private airports in the United States.   This has been a great benefit for business travelers and corporate travelers as well.  On a private jet  you can fly to a destination and be home for dinner in the evening.   This saves the client time because of the flexibility in the planning.  Especially in todays hectic world the private jet has become a  flexible tool for time management!
