How to Choose an Operator or Private Jet Charter Company by Mark Fleischmann
Author: admin | Filed under: private jet charterIt is sometimes hard to make the choice of choosing an operator or a broker. There are advantages to choosing either. I will outline both in this article. The operator usually owns the aircraft or manages it for the owner. Sometimes when I call the operator for a quote they will need to get owners’ approval. Sometimes the owner might not give approval as they are using the jet for their own chartering. Operators also have their own fleets or jets in which case no owners’ approval is necessary. It is generally uncomplicated to secure the aircraft. Usually it involves signing off on the aircraft.
If a client is going to use a charter broker the procedure is generally the same. However, the broker does not own the aircraft. The broker will secure the aircraft from the operator. Upon signing off on the aircraft the client will receive an itinerary from the broker with the tail number and private airport information. Usually choosing a broker or an operator is a personal preference.
Happy Chartering!
